Lessons I’ve learned today!


Today was the moment of truth: we cooked the noodles. They were SUPER bland… whomp whomp.

I learned:

~ SALT is needed in everything. I added the amount of salt the recipe calls for however it was no where near enough. Salt is the giver of life for food.

~ No salt in noodles makes them not only bland, but makes them taste “diet-y” … You know that taste… no one likes that taste LOL

~ Even though the sauce in the recipe was robust and delicious, unseasoned noodles will make the whole dish taste bland.

~ That I DO NOT GIVE UP! I will make this recipe again in 1 week with the lessons learned today and I will continue making it until I get it right! (Side note: My husband HATES this dish and I’m sorry, but he’s just going to have to endure until I perfect it… sorry not sorry)
