Palm Sunday!

I am a little overwhelmed as to completing all of the tasks before me. I’m kind of behind on homeschool planning and everyone is already planning for next year… sheesh! Making me feel even farther behind. But one thing I have learned over the years… just because Jack and Sally are doing something, doesn’t mean I have to also. So, I’m slowly plucking away at my to-do list.

This past chemo has me so wore out… it’s unreal. And I have chemo again this week… I’m truly hoping that this exhaustion gets better. I was only off of chemo… and really only off of my infusion, not even the pill… for 7 weeks and boy did it hit hard when I got it again. Mental fog, mushy brain, whatever you want to call it, it’s terrible and I can’t wait to “get used to it” again!

For Lent, I gave up social media… all social media. It started out super easy, and what I learned is that 40 days is such a LONG time. I’ve almost completed my stent… 1 week left. I don’t do much social media because God has been dealing with me about it for the past year… however, I do miss my ASMR lives from Sue. I’ve been faithfully watching all of her YouTube videos to hold me over until I can come back. It has been unexplainably peaceful not knowing what’s going on in the world though. Like, super peaceful.

Did you give up anything for Lent? Do you celebrate Holy Week? This Lent has really grown my faith and I’ve seen the Spirit move in ways that I never thought possible. This season has been a good one. And while I’m going back to TikTok for my live every night… I think I’ll be off of Facebook and Instagram for a bit longer.

OH! EXCITING NEWS! Friday, I’m finishing my top soil in my garden bed and then it’s ready for planting! I got my seeds in and I’m ready to begin growing my own food. I’m ready to nourish these baby plants so that they will nourish our family. Homesteading is moving upward and onward!
